Rosalie Theresa KELLY Fehring 1951 - 2025 SHS 1969

Rosalie T Fehring was born in Hawthorn, NV, on September 10, 1951, to Rod and Margaret (Babe) Kelly. Rosie spent her early childhood in Nevada. After several years in different areas the family settled in Sheridan, WY in 1964.

Rosie attended Sheridan High School, graduating in 1969. After graduation, she attended the Billings Business College in 1970. Upon graduation, she held government clerical positions in Glasgow, MT and in Yellowstone National Park.

She met her future husband,, Jerry Fehring. They married in Omaha, NE in 1974. Relocating to Kinnear WY they started a family and careers. Jerry teaching shop and Rosie in banking. They welcomed a son, Shane Fehring on March 23, 1976.

Embarking on new opportunities, Rosie moved to Denver, CO, where she owned and operated several successful businesses. The Foot Loose and managing her apartments. Relocating to Norman, OK, Rosie became manager of the OU Boomer Book Store. She was a big OU football fan. Due to health issues she decided to move home where she resided with her sister Sara.

Rosie loved riding her 4-wheeler in Story, with one adventure to Turned Antiques. She loved reading, road trips, watching college and professional football, and tennis. Her greatest love was fishing. She had her own personal Wrangler Angler as a guide and a perfect fishing hole.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sharon, two nephews Mike and Alec.

She is survived by her son Shane Fehring, (Leesa), grandson Braxton (Aijana), great-grandson Waylon, granddaughter Aslyn (Rico), two sisters Sara and Coleen, and several nieces and nephews.

Rosie was kind, funny, and smart. She was an inspiration for perseverance and determination.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 am with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating, at Champion Kane Funeral Home.

A Reception will immediately follow the service at the Shrine. 145 W. Loucks
