Audrey W Martinek, 82 of Surprise, AZ passed away September 4, 2024 at home.

Audrey was born August 6, 1942 in Sheridan, WY to George A. and Freida Wondra.

After graduation, Audrey met and married Larry Martinek on February 7, 1964 in Sheridan, WY. They celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. Years later, after having children, they moved to Gillette, WY to raise their family. During this time, Audrey owned a dress shop and obtained her real estate license.

Audrey enjoyed spending time at the lake, boating and cooking her favorite recipes for her family.

Upon retirement, they spent a few years in El Paso, TX before settling in Surprise, AZ.

Audrey is survived by her husband Larry, daughter and son in law, Lori and Joe Hubbard of Gillette, WY, son, Curtis Martinek of Gillette, WY. Grandchildren, Brad Hubbard of Gillette, WY, Hunter (Michelle) Hubbard of Cheyenne, WY. Brother, George (Marva) Wondra of Peoria, AZ and sister, Marilyn Grace of Sheridan, WY.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gillette, WY.
