Ed was born on June 15th, 1931 in Sheridan Wyoming and passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 at the age of 93.
He was the beloved son of Edwin and Alice Small.
Ed is predeceased by his sister Marilyn (Dennis) Ragan, brother Phil (Connie) Small, son Thomas Kelsay Small and niece Kathy Ragan Millick (Ron).
Ed was a fabulous dad to Sharon (Mike), Kenny, Tom and Retta. Grandfather to Brendan (Jackie), Katie (Jacob), Dylan, Sara (Paul), and Whitney (Deniz). Ed had 10 great grandchildren.
A proud veteran, Ed served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He attended University of Wyoming earning a degree in Pharmacy. He worked for American Drug Stores as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager on the West Coast.
Ed had a strong passion for travel including Europe, his favorite was the BMW Factory in Germany not to mention the great sausages and beer. He traveled back to Sheridan in 2019 to visit with friends and see his hometown, a place that always held a special place in his heart.
Ed was a very proud and dedicated member of the Masonic Sheridan Lodge for over 70 years, he was honored with a ceremony last year for achieving this milestone. Ed enjoyed football and following the Steelers he rarely missed a game.
Ed was known for his "happy go lucky" attitude, with a great laugh, warmth and wisdom and his love will be deeply missed.
