Betty Lou MCNAIR Wilson Raymond 1928- 2024 SHS 1946

Betty Lou Raymond, 95, died on April 28, 2024 in Billings, Montana.

She was born on June 14, 1928 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Clyde and Ethel McNair.

She married Jerald Ernest Wilson on January 25, 1948 and they had three children, Jerry, Sandee and Greg. Her family was her life. She lived for her husband and children and enjoyed being a “housewife.”

They made their home in Great Falls, Montana. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She served as a ward Relief Society President for 10 years and a stake Relief Society President for 10 years. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist and organist. She used her musical talents extensively, playing the organ and piano for choirs and church musicals. One highlight of her accompanying career was playing for a senior citizens group in Sheridan, Wyoming, the “Sheridanaires.”

After Jerry passed away, she married George Raymond and had many happy years with him.

She is survived by her children: Jerry (Vickey) Wilson, Sandee (Mike) Kandas, and Greg (Kathy) Wilson; grandchildren: Jason (Christina) Wilson, James (Erin) Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Ursala (Patrick) Tora, Garnet (Billy) Bradley, and Greg Kandas; 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the LDS Church 1640 Broadmoor Dr., on Thursday, May 2 at 10 AM.
